Candid criticism is allowed. Reporting, response-access, separate responses, author withdrawal, moderation, and eligible appeals now use explicit account-bound workflows; none of them verifies identity or gives a profile subject an edit button.
Praise, criticism, low ratings, blunt opinions, and uncomfortable accounts of working together are allowed. The person reviewed does not approve posts and cannot edit or remove a review merely because they disagree.
Every review requires an Auth0-authenticated account. A reviewer may hide their display name publicly, but Doorglass does not yet independently verify their legal identity, employer, role, or relationship.
Reviewers must attest that a review reflects firsthand workplace experience and should distinguish observation from opinion. A moderator may act on a listed rule violation; disagreement with criticism is not itself a takedown ground.
Home addresses, personal phone numbers, medical information, intimate material, threats, and sensitive protected characteristics do not belong in workplace reviews. Criticize professional conduct and work—not someone’s private life.
A signed-in account may request access to respond for a profile. Pending or approved access is not identity, employment, or LinkedIn verification, and a response stays separate from the reviewer’s words and rating.
A report starts a moderation workflow and does not automatically hide criticism. The signed-in submitter can follow its real status and may appeal only when the backend marks an adverse decision eligible.
